Prepper Church: A Resource for Spiritual Connection in the Wilderness

General resource index

Every Sunday in this blog, we post an outline for a church service that we call Prepper Church.  This format is a unique platform tailored for preppers, campers, and outdoor enthusiasts--or anyone else--seeking spiritual nourishment while embracing the wilderness.

Please note that Prepper Church is a non-denominational and non-professional clergy-led initiative, developed as a private ministry for individuals who value both faith and preparedness.

Our Mission:  Prepper Church provides Biblically-based Christian guidance and support to those who love the outdoors, offering a place of worship and reflection for preppers and campers alike. Our focus is on fostering a sense of community, Christian faith, and self-reliance while embracing the beauty of Creation.

Communion in the Wilderness:  For those who wish to partake in communion during their outdoor adventures, we provide resources and online links to churches offering communion services. Feel free to access these resources, whether you have internet access or prefer to print out materials in advance. Communion is a deeply personal experience, and we encourage you to engage in this practice mindfully and reverently.

Offering:  At Prepper Church, we emphasize the principle of self-reliance and community stewardship. Instead of sending your offerings to us, we encourage local groups to manage their offerings independently. Each community has the freedom to decide how to utilize their offerings, guided by their collective discernment and the leading of the Holy Spirit. This approach fosters a sense of responsibility, unity, and purpose within local congregations.

Music:  We seek to find freely-available audio and video recordings of music to share whenever possible.

Connecting with Prepper Church:  A church is a community, and we truly encourage each of you to make your own group.  Consider establishing a Lay Leader for your local group.  We can help assist your services thorugh the following.

  1. Online Access: Visit our website to find a variety of resources, including communion guides, reflective materials, and community spotlights.
  2. Printable Materials: Download and print resources in advance for offline use during your camping trips.
  3. Study guides: We have another site called Within Reach! where we post new Bible studies every day.  We encourage you to bookmark this site and use the material (or any other you find suitable) in your daily walk with Christ.

Important Note:  Prepper Church is a voluntary and community-driven initiative. While we provide resources and support, the spiritual journey ultimately rests in the hands of the individuals and communities involved. We encourage you to explore your faith, engage with nature, and build connections within your local groups.
